While visiting my parents, Mom and I were talking about the blog, the dangers of it and being careful of the information posted. For fun I typed in my name and did a search. Hundreds of sites popped up, many of them not being me but one site did stand out. I had posted an inquiry on a genealogy site back in 2000. I had checked periodically and never had any replies. Imagine my shock when I saw that someone had replied BUT....in 2004. There was an email address so I thought that I would respond with little expectation of having it be an active email address. Five days later I checked my email and low and behold...there it was. Seven years later after my original inquiry, I have found a connection.
I was overwhelmed with emotion as I had actually found someone on my Dad's side of the family. She is a cousin of my Dad's and his only brother, Jim. She has already given me a plethora of information and a picture of my Grandfather and Great Grandmother. I am grateful to possess this knowledge of my family heritage. Pictures posted are of my Dad and his brother, Jim. Uncle Jim and his wife Roseann, their eldest son Jimmie and his wife Robyn.
I do believe that nothing happens by coincidence or chance. As my mother in law says, "There is no such thing as luck but only by the providence of God."

You know, I think about that same thing with the blog...ANYONE can see what we post. I always think about that when I'm posting new pictures and information. You do have to be careful with everything!
Wow Tami it is such a small world!! Jimmie's Wife Robyn is my uncle Gary's ex wife's (Theresa), sister. She works at Jayden's school as an aide. I am friends with her daughter Jessie. My cousin Ryan is Robyn's nephew.
