I love visiting the farm, sitting on the front porch and taking in the beautiful country views. So many wonderful memories have been created there. I am so thankful for Grammy and Pappy English and the peaceful home they created for us. It would please them to know that it remains that same welcoming place today. There are lots of kittens to hold and chase. Spencer and Mack, two horses to ride and a large barn to explore. I admired the old summer kitchen, the smoke house and all of the trees that I remembered swinging from as a young girl. It truly is a beautiful place to live. It was neat to watch Grace and her cousins explore some of those same places to play and imagine. I can still remember the smell of applesauce cake in the oven and pancakes with gravy on the stove in the mornings. I cherish my sleepovers with Grammy. I took a picture of an old school house that we pass on the way to the farm. I have always admired it even though it was not the school house that Grammy taught at or that the aunts and uncles attended.
