Gracie and I were having a quiet afternoon. We were playing "Memory" and the phone rang.
It was a girlfriend of mine. We chatted for a few minutes and then Gracie was mouthing the words to me, "how do you spell, HANG UP THE PHONE?" I laughed and whispered that I would be off in a few minutes. She was squirming around in the barstool and then off she ran.
Moments later, she returned with a piece of paper and pen. Again, "HOW DO YOU SPELL....HANG UP THE PHONE?" What else could I say??? I spelled the words and helped her a bit. Next, she got the tape and taped it to the door so that I could see it. Needless to say, I ended my conversation with my girlfriend and gave her a BIG hug. These moments together are priceless.
