Our boy arrived back home shortly after 2pm. We were so ready to get our arms around him. He had a great time and was full of stories. Matter of fact he had such a great time that he decided to bring a friend home with him as a souvenir.
Yes, a deer tick.
Yikes! This one needed to be extracted with some help from Dad. All is well here. We are enjoying being all together again.
If you are interested, you can go on the camp website and see pictures that were taken throughout the week. He was at Alpha camp, week 2.

I remember when I was about Caleb's age and I went to summer church camp. I was taking a shower right after I got home and I was washing my hair and felt a tick. I started screaming bloody murder so loudly the neighbors heard me! I scared my mom to death. I think she was relieved when she realized it was just a tick! She had to dig it out with vaseline and tweezers. I will never forget that!!
I'm so glad Caleb had a fun time and that he is home safely and now minus his little friend!! These are times he will never forget!
Welcome home Caleb!!!!
You, Mr. TICK are NOT welcome on ANY LEVEL!!! UGH!!
Glad you had a wonderful week at camp Caleb!
